One foggy night while the roaster was running, a power failure suddenly sent the roastery into darkness. A haunted laugh echoed through the warehouse. When the power came back on the intended light roast batch was DARK AS AN OCTOBER NIGHT! Unable to toss a batch of coffee, we tasted it and found it to be delicious. So we offered it to our patrons.
Every year since, the haunting returns to deliver a special dark roast coffee.
